Collaborative portfolio 9: an application form.

I saw your advertisment. I am writing to apply for your Rock band, to be your singer.
I sing since i was six years in the chorus and take singing lessons, I can play the guitar and the piano. when I was a child I won the prize in a singer contest.
I am a music teacher in an important school of music. I can play the keyboard, piano, guitar, violin and I can sing. I can speak in Spanish, English, Portuguese and French. I worked in a bar like a waitress and then i singed in the same bar and played the guitar there.

COLLABORATIVE PORTFOLIO 8: BOOK REVIEW
REBECCA
The book called ‘REBECCA” of Daphne Du Maurier is a romantic and tragedy dramatic story that happens in Manderley (England It is an attractive book, the story is catchy, full of mystery, suspense, and, intrigue.
The major part of the story develops in different places of Manderley, which is the house where the characters live. The story is about a man who is called Maxim de Winter and his wife Mrs. de Winter. The last wife of Maxim was Rebecca that is dead at the beginning of the story. The verdict was that she had committed suicide but the reality was that Maxim killed her wife because he was jealous of other men.The story had a nasty and evil character, Mrs. Danvers, who made the narrator go mad, feeling insecure of Maxim’s feelings towards her.
In my opinion, it is a tough-reading book that is catchy for lovers of romantic and drama novels. If you are searching for handbooks with a good plot, it is absolutely one of the best books that I have read, I cannot stop reading it!
My only criticism of the book is that the story is a bit conservative, the language is quite old- fashioned and it could be a bit boring for teenagers because they do not tend to read this type of novels.
Apart from that, I would still recommend you this book, it will not disappoint you. The quality of writing is brilliant, the story is awesome. Rebecca has not got a second part, it has got a film, but first read the book that contains a lot of catchy events that do not happen in the film, so before watching the movie, you should read it. It is an incredible story of love, drama and mystery.

Collaborative Portfolio 5 Upper 1
STORY
When I got to the door, suddenly I realised that something was wrong. I started walking down the street excitedly yesterday night to know what happened.I saw a multitude on the middle of the street. Unfortunately there was an accident.
I realised that a man called out me,but I didn't know about him.I thought he wanted to told(BE CAREFUL!!) me something important but I didn’t pay attention to him and I nervously kept on walking. Frantically I was so afraid but he didn’t follow me, so I was a little quiet.
But when I went back to the same place that the man called out me, I spotted a stain of blood on the road with a phrase that said “I will come back to take you with me”.
Finally, when I was returning back to my home I saw this man on the floor,near the door of my house. He was unconscious.

Dear Mrs. Santorini,
Thank you very much for being interested on the project. I am writing to you for more information.Here are some details about things you should know.
First of all, you can come from Saturday 30th to Sunday 31st. We will meet at the Town Hall on Saturday and Sunday at 7.00 am. and we will travel by our own minibus.
Secondly, there are one or two more things that I should mention. Please, remember to wear comfortable and old clothes, and to bring strong boots, and take some gloves. It is very important that you use these because you could feel uncomfortable without them.
Finally, you must bring some lunch,and something to drink that you like.
Please if you need more information or details, you can contact me again. I would be grateful if you would definitely plan to come with us.

Collaborative Writing Pre-Intermediate
Hello…
Thanks for the e-mail. How are you? Well… I am going to tell you about my favourite type of music. I like reggae and rock music. I HAVE heard this music since I WAS ten years old because my brother listened TO this type of music. I love this music because the reggae is very relaxING and I like rock because IT is very funny.
I like that music because the songs cheer me up and make me happy when I’m sad. My favourite band is Queen because I heard them when I was a child and also do special songs and they’re so cool.
I like listening TO THIS MUSIC when i’m happy or bored. I like listen in my house.
I usually listen this music in the radio or in the cellphone.
