Collaborative Writing Entry 4

That day, my life changed forever. Being a 28 years old young man who suffers from vertigo wasn’t a good combination. Especially if that person (me) walked along the Great Wall of China to raise money for our local hospital. But that amazing experience changed my point of view extraordinarily.

At the beginning, I was terrified of making that trip. However, my best friend finally convinced me. When we arrived there, we walked 10 km until we got to the first stop, where we camped. In spite of my fear of heights, the view was wonderful and the sky was clear so we could see the shining stars. Next day, I was exhausted but we did 20 km more. My friend advised me not to look down when we were walking. Luckily, I didn’t do it though I felt nervous.

The following days, I started to enjoy the trip. The weather helped us to continue walking though the wall of China and we walked 15km through it.

We felt bad, but we finally walked the last 15 km. Weather didn’t help us and we didn’t have any supplies, so it was terrible. When we arrived to the end of the walk and the organiser carry us to a hospital.

After it all was over, I really was amazed about the trip because we could help and collect funds for the Hospital.

  1. 1- What's missing at the very beginning?
2- I really was amazed, what's the problem with that phrase?

    Very good people!
